Pathways Elementary Expansion Underway in Ormond Beach

If you've driven past Pathways Elementary School recently, you've probably noticed construction equipment, fencing, and a lot of activity on campus. The work is part of a significant improvement project designed to support the school's future growth and enhance the overall campus experience for students, staff, and families.

What's Being Built?

Volusia County Schools is adding a new 11-classroom building to the Pathways Elementary campus. Construction crews are currently preparing the site and completing structural work for the new classroom building, which will provide additional learning space as the school continues to serve the growing Ormond Beach community.

Campus Improvements Beyond the Classrooms

The project includes more than just new classrooms. Several important infrastructure improvements are also underway, including:

  • Renovation of the bus loop to improve traffic flow during student drop-off and pick-up.
  • Upgrades to the visitor parking areas, with some lots temporarily closed while construction is in progress.
